	AM EPD Kit - Create Your Own Prototype The above photo shows a simple prototype e-reader application that was assembled from the components included in the prototype kit, packaged in a two-piece acrylic case. This prototype weighs under 150 grams (about the same as a thin magazine), is only 7.2 mm thick, and is powered by the internal Li-ion battery pack that is included in the kit. Users can load content onto the device through the MMC card slot. Prime View International (PVI) of Taiwan manufactures this 6" display using E Ink® Imaging Film.
