Through this attribute, power is only used to update the image or content, and no power is needed to display that content. This enables tags that are very low power, with long battery life, and which can be wirelessly connected with back-end systems for centralized management. These tags can display inventory quantity, which are updated dynamically, alleviating any issues in accuracy or efficiency from manual paper updates. Workforces may be relocated to other positions, resulting in better overall warehouse productivity.
