BILLERICA, Mass.--E Ink Holdings, "E Ink" (8069.TW), the leading innovator and global manufacturer of electronic ink technology and ePaper products, today announced that the Billerica, MA and South Hadley, MA facilities in the US have been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification.
E Ink’s decision to work towards ISO 9001:2015 accreditation demonstrates the Company’s commitment to continual improvement of products and services E Ink manufacturers and coats its core ink technology in the Western Massachusetts facility and wanted to ensure the products and factory operations were held to the highest quality standard.
As E Ink continues to push advances in its technology through next generation color displays and films for a range of new applications in healthcare, transportation signage, logistics tags, architectural and glass surfaces, the Company believes it was important to gain ISO certification to support ongoing business diversification, and to ensure the Company met current and future customer requirements.

E Ink’s Taiwanese and Chinese factories have already received ISO 9001:2015 certification. The achievement by the US team now brings their manufacturing facilities in line with the global operations to ensure worldwide quality and a commitment to continuous improvement.
